Virginie Violett (GER)
Virginie Violett is a SSCE® certified teacher for American Tribal Style® Bellydance and one of the first Sister Studios in Germany. She is dancing tribal style for seven years after studying oriental dance and since 2010 ATS® is her main priority. She uses every possibility to learn from international teachers like Caroleena Nericcio (the founder of ATS®), members of FatChanceBellydance®, Devi Mamak, Megha Gavin, Gabriella, Kristine Adams and Martha Saunders. In Freiburg she offers classes and dances with her tribe Deep Purple Tribal as well as various formations and cooperation to perform all over germany and abroad.

Secrets of Sword
Use this possibility to refine your technique. Strengthen your basis an put energy, drama and expression in your movements with the concept of tension and release.
Workshop I
10:00 - 12:00 Uhr
For starters we will talk about various tips and tricks on how to use the sword safely. Then we will beginn with the movements in different arm positions and drill fluent transitions.
Workshop II
12:30-14:30 Uhr
Balancing the sword on your head is the highlight of your performance. There are many great movements and variations to play with in this position. We will work on isolation and balance.
Workshop III
15:00-17:00 Uhr
In this workshop we will expand the boundaries of fusing ATS® with a sword even more. We will add new formations and seamless changes with exciting accents to your sword dancing repertoire.
We advise you to have knowledge of the ATS® level two movements!

Single workshop: 30€ 2 hours

Registration only via e-mail with all the relevant information (with your phone number) and exact description which ticket you want to book. The registration is mandatory as soon as the organizer sends you a written confirmation and the transfer of the WS fee to the stated bank account by the deadline.
*A cancellation of a mandatory booking is free of charge till 30 days before the event. From 29 days before the workshop until 16 days before it we will charge 50% and from 15 days till the event you have to pay 100% of the fee. But it is possible to designate a replacement participant if there is nobody on the official waitinglist who could participate instead.*
